The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit 2 of William Carey University organised a seven-day special camp at Diengpasoh village under Mawryngkneng block in East Khasi Hills from May 25 to 31.
Activities that were held as part of the event were a health camp organised in collaboration with the local primary health centre. The free medical camp was conducted under the leadership of Dr Aldrich Lyngdoh on May 26.
A life skills and mental health session for students of Diengpasoh Upper Primary School was facilitated by Maxwell Lyngdoh, member of the Consumer Commission, and Grace Basanshrieh, Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology in William Carey University.
