Meghalaya Governor Phagu Chauhan was officially inducted as the chief patron of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan here today.
The induction of the Governor was conducted by the state training commissioner Aidor Ryngksai, symbolising the transfer of responsibility and trust.
The event witnessed the presence of the Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor, BDR Tiwari, esteemed members of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides – vice-president EP Kharbhih, Dr MPR Lyngdoh, J Begum, state secretary W Lyngdoh, joint state secretary Dr TK Bamon and state training commissioner Aidor Ryngksai.
