Meghalaya police rescued two tourists who had lost their way in the gorges of Nohkalikai falls in Sohra today.
East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Sylvester Nongtnger said a call was received at Nationwide Emergency Response System (112) at around 2: 56 pm informing about the incident.
A team led by WPSI Vandana Diengdoh successfully rescued the two tourists who hail from Vadodara, Gujarat at around 6 pm, he said.
