Shillong, Sep 2: A one-day guitar workshop with renowned American guitarist Matt Bacon was held in the city today.
Organised by the Department of Arts and Culture, in collaboration with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), the sessions proved highly enriching, benefiting students preparing for their upcoming grade examinations.
The department expressed gratitude to ABRSM and Bacon for promoting quality music education and fostering cultural exchange in the state. This event marks a significant cultural exchange, promoting music education and artistic collaboration between Meghalaya and the international music community, it said.
