The Garoland State Movement Committee (GSMC) has expressed gratitude to Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma for resolving the issue of the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test (MTET) registration process.
The GSMC said candidates, especially those from remote areas, were facing difficulties in registering for the MTET due to technical and logistical barriers. However with the intervention of the education minister the registration process was reopened.
“This decision has not only alleviated the stress and uncertainty among the candidates but has also demonstrated the government’s willingness to be responsive to the needs of the public, particularly those who face unique challenges in accessing education,” the committee said in a statement.
