The Garo Hills Research Centre and Records Foundation (GHRCRF) conducted its annual general meeting yesterday in Tura.
During the meeting, GHRCRF presented a memorandum emphasising the protection of the environment, the promotion of education and the improvement of livelihoods in Meghalaya. The organisation’s primary focus is to uplift education in rural areas of Meghalaya and provide the community with adequate knowledge about their rights and duties.
After thorough discussions, Saint Besterfill A Sangma was appointed as the CEO, recognising his qualifications and potential to address and find solutions for the educational challenges in Meghalaya.
