Shillong, Oct 12: Mark Pantora M Sangma, a promoter of eco-tourism, has been conferred with the Travel Experience Award at the Northeast India Tourism Awards (NEITA) 2025.
NEITA is an initiative of the Emerging Northeast Eco Forum (ENEEF), a platform dedicated to fostering sustainable development, cultural preservation and innovation in the North East.
Sangma expressed his happiness and gratitude upon receiving the award. He said he felt proud and honoured to showcase the beauty of Garo Hills to the rest of the world. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the Nongalbibra Tourism Society, particularly Digros D Shira and Walten Marak, for their continuous support and contribution.
Sangma was also nominated for Best Travel Entrepreneur at NEITA 2025.
