Shillong, Nov 29: The Ku Chaphrang Mairang Youth Development Centre, in partnership with the West Khasi Hills District Medical and Health Officer and Blossom CLF, organised a free medical health camp and blood donation drive at St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Pyndengumiong, Mairang.
The event aimed to raise health awareness, offer free check-ups, and encourage voluntary blood donations.
Power and Water Resources Minister Metbah Lyngdoh, also the Mairang MLA, emphasised the growing health concerns and urged people to prioritise their well-being.
“Such camps provide essential services—let’s make the most of them,” he said. The event drew a large turnout, with doctors, nurses, and locals participating.
