A 200-hour free course on mobile technology was inaugurated at Shillong College here yesterday.
The course is being facilitated by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science & Applications of the college for final semester students of the department under the project ‘Capacity Building in IECT Including Training in Digital Skillsets and Current Industry Demanding Technologies for Various Sections of Society in the North East States’.
The function was graced by the NIELIT Executive Director, Dr. Yumnam Jayanta in the presence of the Shillong College Principal Dr E. Kharkongor, faculty and students of the department and NIELIT officials.
