The foundation stone for the construction and improvement of the UN Road at Pdein Mukhim, Sohphoh Mookabeng and Kdohkule encompassing a stretch of 21.255km was unveiled yesterday.
The initiative, with a project cost of Rs 100 crore and developmental works under the Tourism Department costing Rs 2 crore, will be, it is hoped, a transformative step for infrastructure and tourism in the region.
The programme saw the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar.
