The North East Centre for Community Impact and Engagement (NE-CCIE) at IIM Shillong, in collaboration with the Nurturing Minds student association, organized “A Festival in Nurturing Young Minds for the 21st Century Learning Skills” at the North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) here.
The event brought together students from across the region, equipping them with essential critical thinking, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills through interactive and experiential learning.
A team from IIM Shillong, led by the Nurturing Minds student association, designed and delivered engaging activities focused on leadership, problem-solving, and innovation.
The students participated in various sessions, including an Entrepreneurship Challenge, Design Thinking Workshop, and Business Pitch Competition. They also took part in interactive group activities, such as Project Runway: Build a Cause Campaign and Human Knot Race.
The festival’s success in fostering innovation, leadership, and collaboration was evident in the enthusiastic participation of the students.
Through this initiative, IIM Shillong and NE-CCIE reaffirmed their commitment to empowering young minds, nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset, and inspiring students to think beyond the classroom.
