An eye camp for patients above 50 years of age will be held in health centres under South West Khasi Hills district.
The camp, which will also include screening for cataract, will begin from Mawkyrwat Civil Hospital on October 3 from 10 am. Other centres to hold the camp are Ranikor CHC on October 10, Mawthawpdah PHC on October 17 and October 31 at Wahkaji PHC.
The camp is being organised by the District Medical and Health Officer and Civil Hospital, Mawkyrwat in collaboration with the National Prevention for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment, Meghalaya.
