The Deputy Commissioner of East Jaintia Hills in a press release today has called on residents of the district, including those belonging to registered societies, companies, corporations, organisations, self-help groups (SHGs), Village Organizations, producer groups, etc, to apply for the CM-ELEVATE programme, which is a credit-linked flagship programme aimed at creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurs to accelerate private sector-led growth.
CM-ELEVATE is also a single window application portal designed to cater to the diverse needs of the people across sectors such as agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, tourism, etc.
Interested individuals and entities from Meghalaya between the age group of 18-58 years can apply by visiting the CM-ELEVATE portal and the last date of application is October 31, 2023.
Evaluation will be based on criteria such as entrepreneurs’ need assessment, sector knowledge, current occupation, loan eligibility, willingness to repay the loan, etc.
