The South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Excise) has declared dry day on December 25 and January 1, 2025 on account of Christmas and New Year respectively.
All liquor shops, IMFL, bars, hotels, CS shops and out still stalls will remained closed on the two days.
Violation of the above order will amount to punishment as per Excise Rules and Acts, the DC said.
