Shillong, Jan 22: Deposit-free LPG connections are being provided under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna (PMUY) 3.0, under the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, to poor women having voter identity card, Aadhaar card, ration card/job card, bank passbook, mobile number including Aadhaar card of all family members mentioned in the ration/job card.
In this connection the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) of South West Garo Hills has urged all eligible women to avail themselves of the scheme by contacting their respective gas agency as early as possible.
