Shillong, Jun 14: The Centre of Medical and Sales Representatives’ Union (CRU) Shillong organised the ‘CRU Premier League’ with eight teams made up of medical representatives and six teams from hospitals and stockists.
Among the medical rep teams, Comrade XI won with Pitch Predators coming second. In the hospital and stockist category, First Fortune were the champions and Shifa Drug Distributor the runners-up.
Individual awards were also handed out with Ayan Deb winning the Best Bowler award, Sumon Chanda the Best Catch, Manash Kalita Best Batsman and Mridul Das Man of the Series.
CRU Shillong office bearers Partha Deb (president), Tapash Das (general secretary), Anup Bhattacharjee (vice-president) and Ajay Chanda (joint secretary) were present.
