Shillong, Oct 30: Police have requested help in identifying a labourer who died on October 23 at 20th Mile Pahammawlein in Ri-Bhoi.
The man was known to locals only as Boro. He had been residing in the area for around five years and worked as a hired hand. No cause of death was provided but he appeared to have been eating food when he died.
The body has been taken to the mortuary at Nongpoh Civil Hospital. He is described as being around 5 feet 5 inches tall, between 58 and 60 years old and was wearing blue and white track pants and a red-white-black sweatshirt at the time of his death.
