West Garo Hills District Magistrate, C N Sangma has passed an order enforcing containment measures in the district from 5 am of October 11 till 5 am of October 18 with the same restricted and permitted activities as in the earlier order.
According to the order, all shops in the district will now open from Monday to Saturday till 9 pm and the private transports are allowed to ply with 100 per cent capacity.
The order also stated that the state and central government offices in the district will now function with 100 per cent staff strength. The night curfew in the district will continue to remain from 11 pm to 5 am daily.
