A complaint has been filed with the Block Development Officer of Demdema block on October 13 alleging misappropriation of funds in the rural employment guarantee scheme (MGNREGS).
One Jaiul Hoque Akand claimed that the North Moulakandi Village Employment Council (VEC) secretary, Nur Hussain has withdrawn wages under MGNREGS even though two road projects in the West Garo Hills area are incomplete.
Hussain has declined to complete the work required, Akand alleged.
