Hotels, restaurants, canteens, street vendors etc have been directed to use only 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders for their daily business.
The East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) in an order issued today said the directive is as per Clause (3) of Section 3 of the LPG (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000.
These commercial establishments have been asked to refrain from using 14.5 kg LPG domestic cylinders, which is in violation of Clause 3(C) and 7(C) of LPG (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000.
“Necessary appropriate action will be taken against anyone found violating the order,” the order said.
