Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will chair a meeting with 13 Garo organisations in Tura on reservation roster on June 3.
This comes after organisations in the Garo Hills region refused to attend a similar meeting in Shillong.
The meeting has been fixed at Tura circuit house conference hall, which is expected to be attended by the Garo Students Union, both CEC and Interim body, the Garoland State Movement Committee, Mothers Union of Tura, A’chik Holistic Awakening Movement, A’chik Conscious Holistic Integrated Krima, All India Garo Union, Association for Democracy and empowerment, A’chik Youth Welfare Organization, Federation for A’chik Freedom, All A’chik Youth Federation, A’chik Organization for Social Welfare, Niksamso Garo Community Organization, Federation for Khasi Jaiñtia Garo People, Tura, Tura Garo Senior Citizens Forum and the New Tura Development Forum.
