A special event was held to celebrate Children’s Day at the Raj Bhavan here today in the presence of Governor Chandrashekhar H Vijayashankar.

He said children are the pillars of tomorrow and it is the collective responsibility of everyone to provide them with the opportunities and resources to thrive.
The Governor further stressed the need to nurture their talents and dreams to shape a better future for the nation.
The foundation day celebration of Uttarakhand and Jharkhand was also celebrated on the occasion to recognise the historical significance of these two states.
The Governor highlighted the remarkable progress both states have made in various sectors, from infrastructure to education, and commended the leadership and citizens for their continued dedication to development.
The celebration was attended by dignitaries, officials, and a large number of school children, who actively participated in cultural performances and other engaging activities that showcased their talents.
