Residents of Chibinang have complained to the branch manager of SBI Chibinang, over allegations of a Customer Service Point (CSP) in the village of Moulakandi misbehaving with customers as well as looting money in the form of charges.
The complaint which was submitted today stated that the CSP was allegedly supposed to be set up at Terimpara under Dalu but has been set up without permission from any authorities.
“They have been continually charging Rs 10 per Rs 1000 withdrawn or deposited. When the same was questioned, the manager of the CSP becomes harsh and rude with those that question,” said one of the complainants, Ariful Islam.
The CSP is allegedly being run by one Khorshed Miah of the same village.
Interestingly the same CSP owner is supposedly also running the CSP of another bank.
The complainants also alleged that the thumb impressions on the pass books of customers do not match their own and as such a probe is required into the matter.
“We seek a probe into the allegations so that the matter can be brought out and the people behind this can be acted against,” added another complainant, Mintu Hussain.
