Umsning MLA and former State Congress president Dr. Celestine Lyngdoh today brushed aside allegations made by MPCC president Vincent Pala that NPP used money to buy the three Congress MLAs.
Speaking to media persons here, Dr. Lyngdoh said that allegations will always be there in politics.
“In elections, opponent parties would allege that we pump in money to win elections, do you believe it? I fought elections without money and so did my two colleagues here. We won because of the faith and trust of the people. We cannot control the gossip and allegations people will make about us, let them talk and allege but we have done what’s best for our people,” he said.
