The 50th Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya held a blood donation camp in collaboration with Ampati Civil Hospital today.
Forty-five BSF personnel donated blood at the camp, which was inaugurated by Commandant Yuvraj Dubey in the presence of Second-in-Command Randheer Singh Gill, Dr Heena Khan of the BSF and medical staff from the hospital.
In a speech Dr Denisha G Momin, Medical Superintendent of Ampati Civil Hospital, emphasised the importance of blood donation, stating that one unit of blood donated by an individual can save the precious life of many needy persons while also thanking the BSF volunteers who donated blood.
