The foundation stone for the construction of a feeder road between Mynsain forest road to the Buddhist temple in Upper Lumparing was laid by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai.
The road, to be constructed under a Public Works Department scheme for Rs 1.35 crore, was recommended by Shullai.
In a speech, Shullai lauded the active participation of the residents of the neighbourhood who gave up their land free of cost for the construction of the road.
