The A.chik Holistic Awakening Movement (AHAM), South Western zone has written to the Deputy Commissioner to complain about irregular power supply in several villages in the district.
AHAM zone general secretary, Wester G Sangma the people of Ampati is facing irregular power supply from midnight to morning hours for the without prior notice from the concerned authorities, which has inconvenienced students who are preparing for their examination.
Sangma said that due to frequent breakdown of electricity for long hours there will be criminals taking advantage of the situation.
He further urged the DC to address to the issues of the common people as some cannot afford to buy solar panels and generators.
