Shillong, July 7: Aishwariya Malang from Khliehiongriang, Jowai is set to represent Meghalaya at the Miss Teen Diva national pageant, calling it a “dream come true and a moment of immense pride.”
Speaking at a press conference at the Shillong Press Club, Aishwariya credited her parents for encouraging her to step into the world of pageantry. Initially hesitant to enter beauty competitions, she said her family’s constant support gave her the confidence to follow her passion.
Aishwariya said participating in various pageants over the years helped her build confidence, improve her personality and develop stage presence. “With each competition, I realised I had the potential to compete at the national level. The experience has contributed a lot to my personal and professional growth,” she said.
She urged aspiring contestants to believe in themselves and to chase their dreams with determination. She emphasised that family support is crucial in achieving one’s goals.
As she gets ready to compete against talented contestants from across the country, Aishwariya is set to bring Meghalaya’s pride to the national stage at Miss Teen Diva.
