After nearly ten months of delay, the Central Recruitment Board of Meghalaya Police has today declared the marks of the written examination of the various posts and the results have been uploaded in the Meghalaya Police website.
The results are for the posts of unarmed branch sub-inspector, constables, MPRO, firemen, driver firemen and driver constables.
The candidates can check their marks from the Meghalaya Police website.
Also the answer keys to all the question papers post wise have been uploaded in the website where the marks secured can be verified.
The list of eligible candidates to be called for the personal interview for all the posts will be published and uploaded shortly on the Meghalaya Police website.
Meanwhile, for candidates who have cleared the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in the post of followers, the trade test will be conducted after completion of the personal interview for all the other posts.
It may be mentioned that recruitment for the various posts in the Police Department were conducted in 2019. The PET was conducted in November 2021 and the written examination was conducted in February 2022.
In September this year, candidates who took part in the written examination staged a sit-in demonstration outside the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) office in Shillong demanding expedite declaration of results.
However, the authorities said that the delay to announce the results of the written examination was due to the second wave of Covid pandemic in 2021 and also the order of the Meghalaya High Court for preparation of roster system for recruitment in all posts in the State.
