The A’chik Conscious Holistically Integrated Krima (ACHIK) has requested the South Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner to grant permission to the organisation to hold awareness programmes on the roster system, job reservation policy and demand for Tura to be made the Winter Capital of Meghalaya.
The awareness programmes will include speakers from NGOs, the church and other social groups, ACHIK said, while requesting that the DC also depute police for the programmes.
