Shillong, Jul 31: A two-week district-level taekwondo training programme and selection trials came to a close at the Indoor Sports Stadium in New Nongstoiñ, West Khasi Hills.
The training, held from July 17-30, aimed to select top athletes to represent the district at the 39th National Games in 2027, which Meghalaya will host.
Meghalaya Taekwondo Association president GJL Sangriang and vice-president G Sohlang attended the closing ceremony.
