The National Scholarships Portal is unavailable due to server maintenance and is expected to be completed by April 8, 2025.
The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education has informed that out of 27,327 beneficiaries of the Umbrella Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship for ST students for the academic session 2023-2024, 13,608 beneficiaries have received the scholarship.
For the remaining 13,719 beneficiaries who have not yet received their scholarship, an SMS was triggered from the NSP portal on March 19, 2025 to the beneficiaries’ mobile number registered in the NSP portal to get their Aadhaar Seeding / linking status checked with their concerned banks.
According to the department, upon receiving the SMS, the NSP portal provides 15 days to the beneficiaries to comply with the Aadhaar seeding/linking status.
It said that after the expiry of these 15 days (i.e. on 4th April 2025), the payment files of those beneficiaries who have complied with the Aadhaar seeding / linking status will be available in the NSP Payment Module for initiating payment.
“It is important to note that the NSP portal does not allow for initiating payment before the expiry of 15 days from the date of receipt of SMS,” a release said.
