The office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills District has informed all ration dealers that as per the directive of the Government of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, ration beneficiaries under NFSA (AAY&PHH) must collect their ration using the e-pos machine.
Further, it is informed that the government has extended the deadline for Aadhar enrolment for ration beneficiaries until March 31, March, 2025. Ration beneficiaries who do not have Aadhaar but wish to continue receiving ration are instructed to complete their Aadhaar enrolment. The beneficiaries can complete their enrolment at the office of BDO (Laskein/Thadlaskein) or office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills
