The Wapung unit of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) held a felicitation ceremony for students who excelled in the 2024 board exams and two Ph.D scholars for their achievement.
The 5th U Woh Tep Kyndait Academic Award, 2024 was held yesterday at Wearing Memorial DCLP School Wapung Skur. Students of Wapung Shnong, Wapung Skur, Mookhep, Tuber Kmai Shnong, Tuber Shohshrieh and Shohshrieh were those who were felicitated during the event as well as the Ph.D scholars, Heipor Uni Bang and Tanbok Dkhar.
Education secretary of the KSU central body Pynkmenlang Sanmiet, finance secretary of the KSU East Jaintia Hills district were guests at the ceremony.
