The Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal and Vietnam Academy of Agriculture Science have signed an agreement for cooperation in agricultural research and education.
The CAU was represented by Vice Chancellor Dr Anupam Mishra and Dao, the Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture Science, Hanoi.
The agreement was one of the nine agreements entered between India and Vietnam to deepen comprehensive strategic partnership and enhance cooperation in the fields of customs, agriculture, legal, radio and television broadcast, culture, and tourism.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Hyderabad House, New Delhi yesterday.
