KHADC Executive Member Victor Rani today informed that an expenditure of Rs 11,22,000 was spent in connection with the Monolith Festival 2024.
Replying to queries on the second day of the KHADC session, Rani said that out of this total expenditure, Rs 3,60,000 was paid to volunteers engaged during the festival.
He informed that the other expenditures include the purchase of traditional dress and attires for invitees, renovation and construction of the traditional huts, etc.
Meanwhile, Executive Member (Forests) Macdalyn S. Mawlong today informed the House that Rs 1,27,81,673 was collected from major and minor forest produce (timber) for the financial year 2022-2023 while Rs 1,93,05,911 was collected during financial year 2023-24.
