A felicitation ceremony for SSLC topper, Lilian Christiano B Marak and first division holders of schools located within Chokpot was organised by the Garo Student Union today.
The regional unit of the GSU lauded Lilian for bringing laurels to Chokpot, and hoped that she will inspire other students from the area. Besides her, many students from Chokpot performed well in the SSLC and HSSLC examinations as many were placed in the first division with high marks, bringing great recognition to their schools.
Chokpot MLA, Sengchim Sangma attended the programme as chief guest.
