The driver of a Maruti 800 (ML 05 F 0872) had a narrow escape after the car he was driving struck a truck today afternoon on National Highway 6.
The incident took place at around 12:30pm at Saiden, Ri-Bhoi. The car was being driven by one John Kenny Longshiang. The small car was hit from behind by a lorry (ML 05 U 7080) driven by one John Dkhar.
The impact left the car partially damaged but Longshiang escaped with only minor injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
