Recently in November, NEIGRIHMS had advertised recruitments for Group B and C posts in the newspapers.
As per the exam centres with NEIGRIHMS being in Shillong, three centre choices were given with Shillong being my first choice.
However, as the city intimation notifications came, the intimated centres are far from reach. It is not only difficult to reach the place in such a short notice but also not feasible to cover such a large distance without proper knowledge of that place.
There are other organisations too that have conducted exams recently like IBPS, SSC, NTA, etc where candidates like us have given Shillong as the first preferred exam centre and the city intimation was done as per that only.
Is NEIGHRIMS doing this intentionally so that locals like us could not secure a job by giving off far away locations like Dibrugarh, Delhi NCR, Jorhat, etc whereas the hospital is located in Shillong only?
The places of intimation can be changed but the NEIGRIHMS director is making up for it by saying that it is not possible. It is very much possible to change the intimation cities. An outside third party company like HLL Lifecare which is conducting the examination does not even have a proper phone number so that contact can be made; nor its email is working.
Some candidates have filled multiple posts too and some of the posts’ timings are getting overlapped due to their grave intentional wrong intimations.
I humbly request all the candidates to please raise this issue up to such a level so that the NEIGRIHMS director Mr. Nalin Mehta has to take a step in ensuring that we get our centre preference in Shillong and not outside. It has to be done for this recruitment only and not wait for their future recruitments/processes.
NEIGRIGHMS is screwing the rules of examination as well as the centres. This is not fair. This is a scam of looting money from candidates and not giving them the chance to appear in the exams by giving them far-away centres so that we cannot reach them.
Dibrugarh and Jorhat do not fall in Guwahati region!!! Entrance exams of MBBS are conducted in such far off regions!! During the form fill up they gave choices of three centres namely Shillong, Guwahati and Delhi NCR. It is bound by the recruiting organisation to let the local candidates get their nearest centre and not scam them off to some faraway places.
Candidates appearing for the further posts of this recruitment are requested to take up the issue seriously. It’s a request.
