The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) and NPP MDC Pyniaid Sing Syiem has allocated portfolios amongst members of the executive committee.
Syiem will take charge of the general administration, finance, posting and transfer, establishment, while Deputy Chief Executive Member and Congress MDC Pynshngainlang N. Syiem will look after Elaka administration, law and legal matters.
Grace Mary Kharpuri has been given market; Victor Ranee will look after arts and culture, health and sanitation, labour clearance certificate and fisheries.
Gigur Myrthong will take charge of trade and enforcement wings, Rangkynsai Kharbuki council building, marriage and divorce.
Macdalyn Sawkmie Mawlong will look after forest and town committee, Teiborlang Pathaw land and building bye laws, Alvin Khyriem Sawkmie revenue collection and planning, Fantin J Lakadong taxation, water resource and mines & minerals and Carnes Sohshang development and education.
