United Christian Forum NEI has invited all churches and denomination to join in prayer for peace, harmony, and end of violence and killing in Manipur on May 7.
The forum in an emergency meeting convened in Guwahati yesterday suggested that believers can hold prayer services in their respective churches and fellowships to collectively contribute to a more peaceful and stable environment in the region and promote a positive change for the better while respecting humanity.
During the meeting the forum observed that the situation in Manipur is volatile as conflicts, violence, arson and loss of life, have affected the lives of countless innocent people within the state and the region.
