Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) president KP Pangniang today said that it is too early to comment on whether the state government will be able to bring the second phase of border talks with Assam to a positive conclusion.
“I believe and hope that, in good faith, the government will complete the second phase and I hope that the matter will materialise but I can’t say how long or how far it will be successful since it depends on the members of the committees to take a wise decision and wise steps to settle the issue peacefully and amicably,” he said.
