The Ri-Bhoi Presbyterian Synod will mark its 25th anniversary with a silver jubilee celebration during its annual conference.
The event will be held from March 15 to 19 and will be divided between two locations – the Nongpoh Presbyterian Church from March 15 to 18 and NSCA Playground, Pahamsyiem, Nongpoh on the final day.
Those coming from Umroi, Umsning and Mawhati areas are to park their vehicles at the Ri-Bhoi College campus and service road, while those from Umden, Umsawnongbri and Marngar areas will asked to park their vehicles on the service road, the field at DD Lapang’s property and the Ïewmawlong playground.
Those coming from Nongkhrah will be directed to St Paul’s Higher Secondary School campus and those coming from Byrnihat and Umling will be directed to park on both sides of the service road starting from Nongpoh Gate and on the Nomiwell Memorial School, Sajer, campus.
Shop stalls will be allowed to be set up only 500 metres from the place of worship.
