Former BJP MDC Bhupendra B Hajong joined the Trinamool Congress today at an event held in Salmanpara in South West Garo Hills.
Hajong and his supporters were inducted into the TMC by the party MLAs Winnerson D Sangma and Dikkanchi D Shira.
Hajong had respresented ZikZak to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council. He contested the assembly elections on a BJP ticket from Salmanpara constituency in 2018.
