All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) chairperson Mamata Banerjee today lashed out at the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government for its failure to take necessary actions on the Mukroh firing incident.
Banerjee said that had the incident happened in her State, the people involved in the firing would have been taught a good lesson that they will never forget.
She added that apart from the ex gratia, a job to each family would have also been given.
Banerjee also accused the Conrad Sangma led government of doing nothing much for the families of the five persons killed in the Mukroh firing incident.
