The Anti Narcotic Task Force in South West Garo Hills district arrested a man and seized heroin worth Rs 1.50 lakh from his possession.
The accused Shakil Miah was arrested after the police received a tip-off on transaction of suspected narcotics at Ichaguri-Betasing road.
According to police the team detected the accused who was riding a motorcycle bearing registration number AS-34/3138. Six soap cases containing the drug packed in transparent polythene was recovered from him.
