Trinamool Congress leader Dr Mukul Sangma today said violence in the capital yesterday was a warning for the MDA government, which the State must be careful.
“What happened yesterday is the saddest moment in the history of Meghalaya. The youngsters who protested against unemployment expressed their loss of hope by taking up law in their own hands. It is a clear warning sign, and hence we need to be careful” Sangma said at Gambegre in West Garo Hills.
TMC MDC, Sadhiarani Sangma said, “The MDA government has left no peace in the state. We are witnessing protests and rallies regarding so many issues like the teachers’ protest where the police had acted barbarically. I appeal to the people to take part in bringing change which can only be done through supporting the TMC.”
