A woman who hailed from Sakware village in North Garo Hills was found dead in New Delhi on Saturday in what is believed by police to be a case of suicide.
The woman, Hamera Momin (26), was found dead inside her rented home under Mehrauli police station.
Police in the national capital informed their counterparts in Meghalaya on discovery of the body and North Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner RP Marak said that necessary steps are being undertaken.
