IGNOU has restructured its flagship Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, it was announced today.
This has been done to meet industry as well as employment market requirements, IGNOU said in a press release.
The open university offers the MBA programme in five specialisations: Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, Marketing Management and Services Management. These programmes are offered both in distance and online modes.
There is no need to pass an entrance examination to gain admission. Any graduate (minimum three years duration) with 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved category) can directly join the programme. There is no requirement of prior experience either.
The programme’s duration is a minimum of two years and maximum four years. Fees are Rs 15,500 per semester.
