The Khasi Students’ Union’s West Jaintia Hills unit yesterday formed the KSU Nartiang Circle and KSU Shiliang Myntang circle.
KSU president, Lambokstarwel Marngar, administered the oath to the new members in the presence of assistant education secretary Shiningstar Kharbihkhiew, Assistant Education Secretary Reuben Najiar and others.
Marngar urged the two circles to work together in unity and trust and be vigilant that the indigenous people of the state are not suppressed as both the circles are on the border with Assam.
